About Denise Gallagher

I specialize in Women's Wellness, drawing on decades of experience to guide you toward outstanding results in health, relationships, and overall performance.

My journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). As a Registered Nurse, I have worked across a wide range of specialties, including psychiatry, labor and delivery, infectious diseases, outpatient family medicine, and medical-surgical nursing, supporting patients through some of life's most complex challenges.

I furthered my career with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, reviewing disability cases and developing a deep understanding of how health issues impact people in the workplace.

As a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, I spent 18 years coaching adults with ADD, helping clients develop strategies to overcome everyday challenges and go on to achieve career success, academic growth, and greater satisfaction in their personal lives.

My introduction to hypnotherapy came through a continuing education course during my coaching years. What I learned changed my perspective entirely: most human behavior is driven by the subconscious mind, and the subconscious is far more powerful than the conscious mind. Drawing on my personal experience with hypnotherapy during a period of anxiety in college, I pursued advanced training and became a Certified Hypnotherapist.

Today, my work is dedicated to the issues that matter most to women's wellness. These include smoking cessation, emotional wellbeing, chronic pain, menopause support, IBS and digestive issues, sleep disturbance, and self-esteem and body image.

How Hypnosis Works.

You’ve already been there

Hypnosis is a natural state, and one you already enter several times a day without even realizing it.

That drowsy threshold between waking and sleep. The first hazy minutes of the morning before your mind fully switches on. The absorbed focus of being completely lost in a great film. A deep daydream that pulls you miles away from where you are sitting.

In each of these moments, your subconscious mind becomes more receptive. That is exactly the state hypnotherapy works with.

When you experience hypnosis, limiting beliefs can be replaced with empowering ones, unproductive habits reshaped into productive ones, and negative thought patterns gently shifted toward positive ones. Your conscious desires and your subconscious programming come into alignment, and change becomes far easier than it ever felt before.
